Neither doomer nor boomer: I’m an enterprise architect.
For several years I’ve worked with complex organizations — large groups, distributed IT landscapes, digital products — on ground where technology is never just a technical question. It shapes organizations, redistributes power, and sets off geostrategic, environmental and security stakes that few decision-makers see coming. My job is to connect those dimensions constantly, rather than treat them separately.
I’m trained in Continuous Architecture practices and work in the lineage of modern evolutionary architecture approaches, in particular those developed by Gregor Hohpe.
In 2025 I published Nous venons du chaos, l’IA de la logique (French, “We Come From Chaos, AI From Logic”). A second book is in progress, aimed at managers, leaders, professionals repositioning their careers, and technical experts in transition.
What I pay attention to
Four threads run through what I write here:
- AI governance and sovereignty — what never-purged data, unmastered clouds, and unquestioned algorithms actually cost.
- The augmented architect — what AI agents and MCP really change about the architect’s role, without giving in to either fantasized replacement or corporate denial.
- Continuous architecture as a living discipline — application portfolios, technical debt, and the constant arbitration between strategy and execution.
- AI and human intelligence — a conviction I’ve held since 2017: AI only has value if it frees up human time for what humans do best.

Why this blog
I refuse the binaries that dominate the debate — doomer versus boomer on AI, technical versus business, compliance versus strategy. They simplify to reassure, and they help no one decide.
Here, I don’t sell engagements and I don’t hand down expert dogma. I share convictions drawn from the field, intuitions, and readings — as footholds to raise the level of debate and feed dialogue with peers. What I write isn’t a truth to impose: it’s an invitation to think what claims to be unthinkable, and to hand decision-making power back to those it belongs to.
